Meet Dominic

& Sheila

Hope Street is owned and managed by

Dominic and Sheila Byrne.

We are two people who believe we can make a difference. Whether that difference is helping our investors grow their wealth, providing safe, warm homes for families or individuals, or working in the community to help people regain control of their own lives. We aim to help improve people’s lives in whatever way we can.

In addition to managing our thriving property investment portfolio, we run a community café and hub in Ormskirk, Lancashire.

Hope Street CiC offers a safe space for people who need it, and raises funds to ensure those in most need can access mental health support for free.

Hope Street Homes is a continuation of our vision to improve the lives of people across the region.

“We believe every individual is entitled to live in a home that lays the foundation for our community to reach their potential.”

Hope Street Homes

Our journey into property investment and management began on May 6th 2019.

Seeking financial security, both in the present and the future, Dominic invested £25,000 towards learning how to invest in property and grow a property-based business.

This investment provided the basic knowledge of how to invest in property safely, reducing risk and making money go further.

We completed on our first investment property just one week before the first lockdown of 2020. It was a difficult time for everyone, but we feel lucky that we were able to use this time to learn and grow. That meant we were better equipped to offer our investors better returns at a time when so many were feeling the effects of the recession.

There are two ways to look at every experience in life, and at Hope Street Homes, we choose to look for the positive in every situation.

Hope Street CiC

Our own personal experience of how depression, anxiety and mental health disorders can impact an individual, and the people around them, led us to establish Hope Street.

At Hope Street, we aim to support individuals and break the stigma so often attached to people suffering from poor mental health. We strive to make people feel valued, inspired and accepted, and provide our services to both those suffering from mental health problems, and those who care for them.
